Scandia Custom Cabinets warrants for 1 year to the original consumer of the cabinets construction against defective materials and workmanship under normal home use and service at the original site of installation. This warranty is only applicable to our products used in residential applications and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply to the natural aging of wood products and degradation of the finished appearance due to natural or artificial light, color fade or visible cracking around joint areas.

Because of the varying natural characteristics of wood and the effects of aging, products shown in displays will not be an exact match to new cabinetry. Depending on wood characteristics, the age of the sample and the environment of the showroom samples will show some degree of variation from new products. All doors, drawer fronts, trim, and molding will not match exactly in either finish or grain. Variation in wood is normal and unavoidable.

Natural woods may vary in color, characteristics and may exhibit subtle changes as they age. Color changes may occur because of aging, exposure to light, heat, environmental conditions and other natural, and chemical elements. Color variations and changes are not covered by this warranty.

If components are replaced, Scandia Custom Cabinets cannot guarantee that the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the components in the residential application.

This warranty will not apply to Scandia’s cabinets and products damaged by misuse, neglect, acts of God, removal, exposure to moisture, alterations, improper installation, exposure to extreme temperatures, improper storage, improper handling or the effects of normal use.

To obtain replacement(s) under this warranty, first contact Scandia Custom Cabinets, who will arrange for inspection of our product. A dated sales receipt as proof of purchase is required to obtain benefits from this warranty.
